Here's a small sampling of our current project in the County of Two Hills, AB

This project is requiring a complete garage and home teardown as some poor construction practices in the 1960’s left the bottom of the garage walls rotten from being at grade, and no pressure treated lumber being available.

Lutzak Farm House

Located at 133018 Township Road 560, in the County of Two Hills, this personal project will have us tear down the house and garage and rebuild with new additions to the farm house, as well as adding a 1/2 storey to both. The house foundation is solid, so we will work with what we have. The older farm house in the back will be converted to a screened in covered deck for summer enjoyment.

Foundations are where you begin

The existing grade beam foundation on the garage has some structural faults and is at grade, allowing for water penetration to the bottom of the walls so we need to add a new grade beam on screw piles to end up with a curb above grade, and new walls with sill gaskets and pressure treated sill plates should make this last a lot longer than 55 years.
